Today I hiked with a coworker. We both have looked out at Cucamonga Peak from our office windows and he wanted to attempt this one. We made it to the saddle and stopped for a snack. It wasn't too cold or windy as we rested and ate. We continued on the trail towards Cucamonga Peak but soon my friend was feeling bad. We were about a mile and a half from the peak when he had to stop. He waited while I dashed up to the peak as fast as I could (which wasn't very fast since I was already tired). I took pictures quickly, failed to find the geocache hidden near the peak. I rushed back down to meet back up with my friend at the saddle. We slowly made our way back down the the parking lot finishing our 9 hour day.
