Finally finished the 6 peak challenge with this last peak!! I was procrastinating on this all summer…I did the other peaks back-to-back for 5 weeks to train for Mt. Whitney. I skipped the 6th week because of Memorial Day weekend….hiked Whitney the weekend after Gorgonio (which is much more challenging IMO). Cucamonga was a favorite because we were up above the clouds and could see them! As well as the inland empire and LA. I loved the contrast. Will try backpacking here next time!
