Solo trek to Corte from South Orange County.
Was a beautiful day with a dozen or so friendly people passed along the way to summit.
First time here and the trail was in great conditiona with a few little rock scrambles here and there, a couple of steep sections where poles were helpful and a lot of amazing scenery in EVERY direction. Gorgeous mountain.
Discovered Los pinos peak /fire lookout was only an additional 4 miles at trail junction/saddle area… So I hit that up to. Total of 11.4 wonderful and easy/moderate miles to two gorgeous peaks.
