A hot day during Labor Day Weekend. I never drank so much water in my life, luckily, plenty of drinking fountains to replenish my nalgene on the day.
I managed to string together a combination of trails I haven't done before, thus adding a couple of extra miles to an already long hike.
Highlight: a coyote keeping my company for a good quarter of mile. He ran on the trail ahead of me, about 20-50 feet away. Ears turned, keeping me in its peripheral vision. He stopped to hunt for a bit, waited till I got closer, then ran ahead again.

Wow! Pretty nonchalant coyote there. Great photos, Eszter!
