First Mt Diablo summit of 2021, but not the last. There were many Bay Area peak challenges last year, including Coastal Trails Diablo 6 peaks. We didn't even know there were so many peaks on Diablo, so much more to explore there. If you go on a warm day, be sure to bring plenty of water, as most of the faucets and fountains were shut off due to the drought. There are bathrooms and light snacks at the summit ranger station.
