Sorry I missed the snow by a week due to travel, but was blessed with great conditions for our run/hike from Rock City to the Diablo summit. There was still some snow in the covered areas – which thrilled a few kids who had a snowball fight near the peak. Met a couple other runners on the trail, including some ultra runners who did a 23-miler from Mitchell Canyon to the summit to Rock City, down Twin Peaks and back to Mitchell Canyon. Perhaps I’ll do that next time. From the summit, could see Rose Peak, Mt. Tam, Mt. St. Helena and Mt. Umunhum.
