San Bernardino peak, was a tough one but we conquered you! We started the hike at 6:56 am and ended at 12:24 pm. Through out the hike you could see a lot of dead and burnt trees from the fires. With a ton of ash on the ground, probably why I kept smelling smoke as we walked. We took a break and ate a snack at the half way point before continuing up the mountain. Once we reached the top, it was pretty chilly. We had some black clouds covering the sun but no rain. Overall great Hike with beautiful scenery, at the top we could also see big bear lake which was impressive.
