This was Maggie May and my first time hiking Sitton Peak. We don't get down to Orange County to hike much, and I think that's a mistake.

We got to Sitton Peak later than we should have, and hiked out in the dark. That was less fun.

Most of this trail is fairly easy, as others have noted, until you get to the very last half mile. Mother of God. You go from a lovely trot in the woods to scaling a mountain (I'm being dramatic).

Anyway, I am grateful for the Six Pack challenge because otherwise I probably wouldn't have sought out Sitton Peak. That'd be a shame because it was a pretty neat one! (Even with the rain!)

P.S. Enjoy the ridiculous self-timed selfie where it looks like I'm falling off the mountain. I didn't plan that. I'm just a goober. (Also, the post in the photo look like it's grimacing?)
