It was a beautiful fall day.  The weather started off cool in the morning but by the time we finished it was in the 80's. My friends and i started at the Dreamy Draw trailhead and followed the trail guide that is under trail guide on this site.  We followed trail 100 to 1A over the ridge and around the corner to trail 302.  This lead us up the back side of Piestawa Peak where we joined trail 300 to the summit.

We did not pay close enough attention to the map and made a few wrong turns which added about a mile to our travel and several hundred feet elevation. We still had a great time and enjoyed the weather.  It was nice to have a break from the scorching hot summer
