My boyfriend and I started the hike at 6:30 in the morning. The weather was perfect and I didn't need to wear a jacket. I'm totally a slug hiking upwards but I was able to average just under 2 miles an hour. Thanks to working out in a gym finally haha. We made it to the summit in about 3 hours. We walked into a bunch of spider webs on the way up so it gave us the impression we were the first ones making it to the summit today. We made it to the peak and had it all to ourselves for 30 minutes. It was peaceful and wonderful until a large group showed up. We made it back down at 2pm. It was really warm on the way down. I'm very pleased we got there early when the weather was pleasant and cool. Such a gorgeous hike. I can't wait to go back and conquer Ontario Peak.
