Echo Trail is always fun! I got to it at 6.30am because parking lot is very small. Main one was already full, so I parked on the side. This was the first time that I hiked after rain. Surprisingly, it was not bad at all! Rain gave the trail darker color and more pop, but there were no places that were muddy. It is rated Extremely Hard – double diamond like Piestewa Peak- but I think mostly because of the rugged terrain. The trail is short, 2.5 miles round trip, takes on average 1.5 hours to complete at an average pace.
