Such a hot day for a hike… we started our hike at 6 AM with a temperature of 68°. By the time we finished our hike at 11 AM it was 106° at my vehicle.  Clearly we did not think that through🤦‍♀️

The trail was amazingly marked until the last half mile where it was a rock scramble and I couldn’t seem to stay on the All Trails map but I follow the trail and we got to the top.

let’s talk about the bugs and how the horseflies were trying to kill us the entire way down the mountain.  What awful little creatures!!
