Located in the County’s El Capitan Open Space Preserve. Parked on the side of road as we wanted to get head start. Parking lot opens at 8am.
The trail is challenging because it’s “uphill both ways”. On way back down from El Cajon Mountain did a short climb up to “El CAP”. Weather was nice and cool. Take plenty of water ????.
