See Part 1 where we finish Cucamonga Peak and arrive back at the saddle at 9:45 p.m. As tired as I was, we hit up Ontario Peak. We arrived at the peak at 11:45 p.m. Pretty amazing views at night. We saw clouds forming right above our heads and the night that had been really clear got cloudy in a hurry and it became a little harder to see.
We arrived back at Icehouse Saddle at about 1:15 a.m. Knowing that we had to be back in Palm Desert by 8 a.m., we decided to grab out pack and head down. We got back down to the car by 3:35 a.m. It was a brutal 17 miles, but definitely memorable.
