Been hiking this trail every year and this time it was a treat. The trail was lined with mix green grass and wild flowers. All trees were green. I didnt see brown mountains and hills at this moment. It was a different landscape and was glad i did it this time of the year.
The struggle still there and still experienced the daunting heat of the afternoon. The cosmic cafe was already open by the time we reached the top, treated ourselves with coke. Breezy and a bit cold in the area but definitely helped us recover from the heat.
Head to the sign for photos for a few minutes and went back down.
