It was such a beautiful day to be hiking Ice House Canyon trail. There were fall colors everywhere and the weather was crisp and moderate. It was a Friday so there was plenty of parking still at the trailhead even though we didn't arrive until 9 a.m. I actually prefer the trail up to Ontario more than Cucamonga. The view is so beautiful in my opinion. About a mile past Kelly's campground, the first time we reached the ridge (near the trail to Big Horn peak) when you see the other side of the mountain, it's such an incredible view.
