Once you get to the trailhead via the 5 mile dirt road, the trail starts to the right of the trailhead sign. Trail overall is nice to walk on (not a lot of roots & rocks). Started at 7am and had about 60% shade. Had about 30% shade on the way down. Sad what the fire did 21 years ago. Good views at the top… didnt see any elevation markers. Starting early is good. Total took less than 4 hours.
