In the beggining of it all, roxy and i werent expecting the amazing views we got. I did my research before i attempted this and was a little skeptical because of what baldy did to me. I honestly i was going to do this hike a while back, but wasnt sure of the views im more of a views type of person but i judge it before hand. So the trail the beggining man oh man probably the steepest it will get the entire way. The trail is really beautiful and well perserve. We saw a sign towards lamel spring but we werent sure of how the rest of the trekk was going to be. The weather was great not to cold not to hot perfect day for hiking. Almost to the summit there was a part of the trail where was my favorite it was like a mini devils back bone, it was amazing i loved it. Once to the summit the views were so amazing. We rested hydrated and had some fuel snacks. We started our decend, and well its a bit hard to go down when a dog is pulling so i had to let go of the leash for brief moments. Overall this has been one of my favorite hikes, will recomend and will again for sure.
