Took advantage of cooler temperatures to knock out #6 on the peak challenge, Flatiron. Awesome hike!  As advertised. First mile is relatively pedestrian. The second mile is more of a hike. The third mile is all rock scrambling and climbing. Started hiking solo and ended up befriending a retired ex-military guy before the Siphon Draw and finished the hike up and down together. Able to stay on the main trail relatively easily, saw many blue and white dots, several arrows along the way. Heeded all of the advice available on-line … start earlier, stay to the left during the third mile up, bring plenty of fluids, 3L was sufficient for me. Going to do Flatiron again next weekend with my daughter so that she can complete her 6 pack peak challenge!
