Last peak for the challenge! Feels so good to be finished. This one and El Cajon felt outside of my skill level, but we took it slow and steady. We saw a few other hikers on the trail and tons of Jeeps and trucks. The amount of flies, bees and gnats was insane. I've never seen anything like that. This was the first time I went through all 3 liters of water. It felt really hot even though the high was 72. I think I'll stick to 5-8 mile hikes after this, but it was awesome to challenge myself this year and I'm glad I did it.

Literally thought I would need to be take. Off this mountain in a helicopter. Losing 2 toenails.
I feel ya, this hike was hard! We almost turned around twice. That sucks you lost toenails. The last couple miles downhill through the rocks was brutal on the feet.
