1/23/2021. Hiked with one of the original legacy challengers; Harvey Fiji. Another day that was forecasted to rain instead turned to be a perfect time to experience & enjoy the gorgeous sights wherever you look; rock types & its unique formations, the Weaver's Needle, Saguaro plants, the valleys, even the clouds- hoping it moves steadily away from the trail, hahaha. Generally, a rocky trail but easy to follow with gradual incline & intermittent flat sections. No entrance or parking fee. Park rangers on site & were very courteous & helpful. About 5 miles toward the trailhead you'll find yourself driving through a dirt road but it's all good; any vehicle will do just fine.
