Today's hike up to Pie's summit was a gorgeous 70 degree lunch hike. The mountain was packed with people the entire way spanning an age range of late elementary kiddos through senior citizens. I encountered one Amish family wearing their traditional clothing and enjoying the journey. The path is clear and rocky. Bring your patience at whatever time of day you choose to do this hike because it really is that busy. Pretty nasty air day today, so the views were a little surrounded in brown, but being on top of a mountain is satisfying anyway. Perfect weather today!
