Fun Sizer is what we call this beautiful State Park hike. And my final hike on the challenge.  I was prepared for an all out fight. This was the furthest of the peaks to get to but was absolutely worth it.  If it wasn’t for the challenge I would have never known about Henry Coe State Park. I will come back to do a Spring hike to see the “raging” creek.  The first steep climb my legs were still feeling great. The weather is nice, slight breeze and the trail is mostly covered. Peaceful hike without much foot traffic. Our group ran into like 10 people on the trail. Which is fine with me. I love looking at the fall leaves on the horizon and the ground. Feeling content in the solitude before the rush of holiday engagements. Grateful to the wonderful challenge, the people I have met and new friends I have made. Thinking about all of this truly made Sizer our Fun Sizer! See you next year!
