We had such plans for our last hike we were going to camp atop Gorgonio but the fires ruined plans and Mt. Woodson it was. The hike was pleasant hot at times, we started around 9am and would not recommend it, it became very hot very quickly and the hike has little shade. I think because of the time and the heat we did end up with hardly anyone on the trail which was nice. We have hiked this peak several times but this was the first time we took pictures on potato chip rock as it wasn't super populated.
