Great time with my cousin. Her first mountain, and she’s hooked. Let her set the pace and took us about 2.5 hours to reach the summit.
Tons of caterpillars. Sadly squished two with my hands while climbing, but tried not to step on any.
One spot as it turns to slabs that was a bit of a challenge for 2 5 ft tall people, but nothing unmanageable.
Great views on the way up and down, but no views at the summit. Cloudy, windy, light rain. But once off the summit it was clear and sunny again.
