Scenic hike— Memorable historic fire called pumpkin fire dates back in the year of 2000. You will be able to see the aftermath of this fire—after so many years. The switchbacks were a long gradual climb. I Definitely felt the altitude change—felt somewhat lightheaded with darken vision..no joke. Weather changes 2 hours into the hike…hail storm…as my partner and I reached the top. Lessons learned on the mountain..We can overcome trails in life when we are in a storm. I seen personal growth in myself…the old me would of raged/reacted in fear in a storm…will never forget this hike. Thank you Kendrick Peak!
