Happy New Year to my SoCal Hikers.  In Jan 4, 2020 I solo hiked up to Sitton Peak.  To my surprise, I wasn't alone at all.  Many hikers hiked up to Sitton Peak like I did.  It was very crowded up there.  But I loved the company.  I wished everyone a healthy, happy New Year.

The weather and views were stunning.  I got a great view of the mountains, canyons and the Ortega highway.  The trail was a little damp but it was firm to hike.  Since it still winter, there were much flowers.  I saw a whole lot of wild berries and moss.  There was a couple who rode their horses on the trail.

Although Sitton Peak is the lowest of all the Peak Challenge hikes, it does give you a good workout.  The last stretch to the Peak will wind you out if you are over eager to summit it.  I love doing this Peak hike and it's my yearly tradition to visit Sitton once a year around tjis time.
