There was plenty of parking at the trail head. No maps to grab so make sure you use an app and download the map before you go or take a picture of the map at the beginning of the trail.

There were several friendly bikers at the start and they were all vocal so you knew where to step a side so they could pass and just enough hikers to know we weren’t the only ones on the trail. The trail was a good mix of shade and sun so it made the trek up hill feel good! We also saw plenty of lizards and squirrels along the way to help keep things interesting. Plus as we climbed the mountain we would catch a glimpse of the city below making for some good pictures.

At the top of the summit there were several place to relax and enjoy the view and the best part was that there were just a few people so we didn’t have to work about a crowd at the summit.

It was a good hike and I will definitely go back to hit the trail again!
