This was our 2nd peak. Picked it because I've lived in the OC most of my life but had never been up there, and because it was the closest to our house. The trailhead is only about 11 miles from my place but it's about an hour fifteen to get there, since most of it is a truck trail and going is slow. It's passable with pretty much any car but would have been easier in a high clearance vehicle. The hike itself was….meh. The entire hike is on a road/truck trail and is just a gradual slope all the way up. Not difficult at all. If it weren't for the views along the way and the views from the top, it would have been boring. The views are absolutely stunning though! Totally worth it just to see them. Watch out for vehicles though.
