We started our hike from Maple Springs at 9 am after parking where the paved road ended. Weather was pleasant and there was already a lot of traffic, both trucks going up and coming down. We followed the road to the top. It turned out to be almost 18 miles. Views were increadible in all direction. The road in good conditions. We saw couple spots where 4 or all wheel drive is needed. Disapointed to see trash on the trail, mostly empty beer cans. Probably would not do it again. For those who still plan doing this hike suggest doing it during week, possibly less traffic, hence less dust.
