Trail snow-covered at times – Gear and expertise recommended

The Shenanigan Sisters and I set out to conquer our first peak of the six pack of peaks challenge. The website suggested Mt. Wilson… As suggested we headed up. What should have been an “easy-ish” 7 hour hike took us 9 hours and all day. It was probably the most beautiful hike I have ever been on. I feel like we experienced all 4 seasons in one day.

5 hours up and 4 hours down. Through water, ice and snow.  The company was fantastic and the rushing water was soothing.

My feet hate me. Three days later and they still hate me.
