Up at 3:45am, headed out…started at sunrise and it was a tad cooler. This weeks heat wave is hitting us-was hot on the way down. We ended up running through the bugs…because the middle section had soooo many gnats that were flying around our faces. Definitely needed face nets. The summit was not as bad. And we saw a handful of people at the summit. Not too busy though….headed down in the heat and thankful for a bit of cloud coverage from time to time. Candy store was open…;)
