Blue bird day. Welcomed into the Los Coyotes Reservation and found lots of parking at the campground.  Trail is a single lane dirt road most of the way, in good condition. First few miles climbed in open and after cresting at about half way the trail travelled up and dow through old growth pine forest and open meadows to the old fire tower.  From there the trail is a small through oak, pine and chaparral to the summit boulder. There is a ladder and knotted ropes to help climb 🧗‍♀️ I needed them and left my pack and poles behind.  On the way back to the fire tower I found a great rock in the shade with an incredible view to the North including San Jacinto which was one of my first climbs for Kiss the Sky to Conquer Diabetes.
