Got to the parking lot at 6:45 only to find it overflowing! Ugh, had to park up the road… The hike to the saddle and even to Camp Kelly was very pleasant, but once past the shady areas, it got hot! Made the summit and shared the shade with several others. Then on the way down, “swung by” and bagged Bighorn Peak. Because it was there.
