The trail is a fire road until you reach the fire lookout tower then it turns into a single trail. There were some bugs here and there but not too bad. There were some snow patches but no microspikes needed. A few trees have fallen on to the trail that you have go around but it wasn’t difficult to get around them. There is a $10 fee per person to get in to the Los Coyotes Reservation.
