Such a dramatic foggy morning on the road going to the trailhead. We thought it was going to rain because when we left home it started to rain & intensified while on the freeway. But by the time we reached the trailhead, we knew it was going to be another beautiful day with the sun going up & the skies becoming clear of clouds. The rope climb is always a fun part of the hike. Saw a field of yellow wildflowers on Hwy 79- just spectacular!
