Took my holiday day off to drive out to Los Coyotes Reservation for a snowy hike up Hot Springs Mountain. @kngizzo80 joined me and the weather was warmer than the forecast. This made for a beautiful day to head up to San Diego’s highest peak. This is always one of my favorite hikes when there is snow on the ground but that first 2 miles is a killer as it gains 1300 feet of elevation.
10.32 miles / 4 hours 2 minutes / 2,453 feet elevation gain
