It was a lovely and invigorating hike up to Hot Springs Mountain peak with a fabulous group of hiking friends! This was 3 of 7 to choose from in the @sandiego.sixpackofpeaks challenge for me. It was very nostalgic, as it was my first time back to Los Coyotes and Hot Springs Mountain, since my Ragnar Trail Relay days. It brought back so many good memories. One thing I confirmed…the initial ascent is relentless and brutal, especially if you’re trying to run it!
