The hike was true to its hard rating. It started with steep inclines and ended with steep declines. It was a beautiful hike with very green forest scenery and nature sounds. Near the top there is a old water tower with a beautiful view of mountian ranges and forest. At the summit there is a time capsule box with a not pad you can sign. The lookout is a free climb on a large rock and is a bit sketchy. I would recommend having a buddy help you climb up and down to the lookout. Bring lots of water, a lunch, and Snacks for nutrients. You may need some bug spray as the bugs come out mid day but arent to bad. All in all it was a fun yet hard fall day hike!
