First two miles are the steepest. After that is where the snow began to appear about 2-3 inches. Very beautiful trail, it has about 3 different sections of scenery from big trees to complete flat open areas with great views to long stretches of small shrubs (possibly manzanita shrubs). You'll definitely enjoy this trail. You do have to pay a $10 dollar fee and they open at 8:00am.
