Humphrey's Peak was covered in a cloud when we awoke in Flagstaff. Temperatures were good, so we began our hike and hoped that the warmth of the sun would chase off the clouds. However, the weather had other plans and Humphrey's stayed a Misty Mountain – giving magical vibes. It took 2 hours to reach the saddle, where we were gifted a small break in the clouds to view sunset crater on the other side, and another 40min to reach the summit with the wind gusts attempting to knock us over and causing the temperature to feel MUCH colder than actual. Despite the clouds interrupting the beautiful summit views, we enjoyed our long hike. The trail was well maintained, albeit rocky. Hat's off to you, Humphrey!
