Hiked San Jacinto from Humber Park. Starting temp was 69 degrees and it got fairly warm as the day progressed which really slowed me down. This was the first time I had my permit checked on any hike I have done.
It was rockier than last year from what I remembered, but a nice hike with lots of pine trees. Mostly shady the first few miles.
Had the peak all to myself, with the exception of a squirrel and some ticks.
