It was a muggy humid day in the high 70's when we started up the trail. The trail was wet from previous rain and a lot of exposed tree roots awaited us, every step one had to pay attention. Burrows trail goes 2.1 miles before it hooks into the Long Trail for the final .3 to the top. Fortunately the top was socked in with clouds and no view was to be seen. I have a feeling this is a great Mt. to climb on a good day. But any hike I get to do with my best friend and wife Judy is a good hike.
