My husband and I hiked Volcan mountain. It was a beautiful day at first. This was the best time I've hiked Volcan Mountain. The other times I've done it everything was dead so it wasn't a very pretty hike but this time it was beautiful! It was very breezy until we got closer to the peak and the wind picked up. It ended up getting so windy it felt like a hurricane!!! I was actually terrified that the power lines were going to break and fall down. We stopped at the top for a lunch break and I did a time lapse video of the clouds blowing past. Then the wind was getting so bad we had to get our peak picture fast so we could head down before we were blown off the mountain. We ended the hike with a trip to Mom's pie in Wynola. It was a great time for our first of the San Diego peaks.
