We started at 6:30 am, very soon we realized that it was too windy, we still decided to do the hike. It was a very cold morning and it continued like that for the rest of the day. The trail was empty just for us, from the Ice House Saddle junction to Ontario Peak, the trail was very pleasant, the only thing that worked against us was the freezing air, at times our hands got numb even with gloves. Even so, we managed to reach the top and enjoy our lunch and a delicious hot coffee and then begin the descent.
