This trail wasnt quite as bad as Hazard as far as signage goes.  Thankfully there was a couple of older men who happened to be bikers and sitting on the bench at the intersection where Beebe Trail split.  They told us the right way to go, and to find a sign that would say no bikers aloud past Oats Peak.  There were several knolls and again, like on Caliente Peak, I didnt count.  Valencia Peak was immediately to our right and though we'd scale it on the way back but later realized that there wasnt en0ugh energy to add that peak to our list.  There were probably at least two extremely difficult knolls to scale on the way to the summit of Alan Peak.  You pass throuhg a mine forest where I thought I was inside Tales From the Darkside.  Lots of mountain lion scat, they clearly dont respect “leave no trace” hahaha.  Alltrails said it is a 11.8 mile trek, but the trail deemed to be 14.8 miles based on my logged hike on Strava.  Thats my only complaint, because the closer to accuracy I can be the better when planning for a hike.  Like in my last log, I saw Hazard Peak along the hike and realized where I'd turned back thinking I was lost because of the poor and or lacking of signage.  This trail I could definitely do again and again … long after this challenge is completed lol.. after nearly 4 hours, the summit of Alan Peak was in sites and a brewskie was cracked open
