This hike had me push beyond my body's limits, the first 3 miles of this hike are strenuous to say the least. It's going all up hill and right when you think it's going to flatten out you turn the corner and see it keep going up. Half way through due to the high elevation, me chugging my water, and me not giving the rest my body needed I puked. I know continuing was a stupid thing to do, I placed myself at risk at becoming dehydrated and placing more strain on my body. The right thing to do was head back but I'm not one to quit, I felt fine. I took a quick nap on the side of the trail and after much debate with my friend I told him to grab his stuff because we had a submit to reach. After my 15 minute nap I didn't feel any pain afterwards my head and body felt fine so I kept going. The last few miles of the hike take through a scenic wooded area where you can enjoy the shade. It took my friend and I 3 hours to reach the top where we got to enjoy the the views above. Be carful when doing this hike don't push yourself too much.
