Today was so hot! Last year we went up and down by way of the notch restaurant to devils backbone discovered the steep torture that is the baldy bowl, visited the hut and saw deer along the way, it was great. Sore and sunburned but I wouldn't have missed it..

It gets HOT in the sun. I like to summit early in the day and be headed down before noon to beat the worst of the heat.
