Labor Day hike with my 2 yr old border collie, Ansel! We started late, around 9am, and kept a chill steady pace to the summit. Very crowded near the bottom, I imagine because a lot of people had the day off today. Parking was a bit hard, and had to park a bit down the road. The streams were pretty full, which is surprising this late into the summer. I imagine our “hurricane” and the showers on Saturday helped. It was a cool day, very different than the 90 degree weather we had last week, and it made for a pleasant hike.
