The Mount Baden Powell has become one of the most beautiful and challenging hikes. It was four miles and forty switchbacks to hike up the mountain. The trail is well kept and easy to follow. This was my second time hiking up the mountain, since last August 2020. I find it to a much better experience to the colder temperature in November. Started at 7 am where the hike was a cool 55 degrees.  While the descent down was 70 degrees late morning. I highly recommend starting the hike EARLY to avoid the people traffic. Words cannot express how BEAUTIFUL and QUIET it is at the TOP. The panoramic views are spectacular. Since the Mountain top is dedicated to the SCOUTS of America, it is fitting a American Flag memorial was there. I think more hikers appreciate the flag marker vs the actual SCOUT memorial.  Please never remove the flag off the mountain. Overall, Mount Baden Powell is an amazing and unforgettable experience. It will be one of my favorite hikes in Southern California.
